Just 18 months ago, I embarked on a bold cross-continental move, bidding farewell to my customer service role in the UK and embracing a career in recruitment with Hays Middle East, right here in the heart of Dubai, UAE.

With a clean slate in recruitment, I dove headfirst into the labyrinth of candidates and clients within the Construction and Property industry.

Fast-forward – and well, the results speak for themselves, as sturdy as well-poured foundation. Within the span of a few months, I was able to achieve rewarding milestones, climbing the career ladder from Researcher to an Associate, with my most recent promotion to a Consultant.

My secret to success? Resilience. And of course, to ride the waves of the dynamic field of recruitment. Celebrate the wins, but never lose sight of the big picture. It’s a philosophy that has served me well – as for my aspirations, I already have my sights set on future growth, with my eyes on becoming a Senior Consultant within the coming years.

While there may not be a definitive blueprint for success, I firmly believe that seeking challenges that result in fulfilment in one's work is the cornerstone. Personally, the joy for me lies in making placements, relishing tangible results, and above all, providing candidates with amazing opportunities while consistently exceeding client expectations, with a steadfast commitment to advancing our business.
