Graduate Trainee Recruitment Consultant
A graduate programme designed for aspiring recruitment consultants to start their careers and impact on the world of work. A 6 month programme with a structured training plan, Graduate Trainee Consultants will work with experienced team members within one of our specialisms to develop as a recruiting expert. The initial focus is on candidate sourcing and management before learning job delivery and client development to progress into a 360 recruitment role as an Associate Consultant.
6 monthsAssociate Consultant
A junior recruiter role with full training provided on all aspects of 360 recruitment, including business development, candidate attraction, and client and job management. A varied, stimulating and challenging role which provides lots of opportunities to develop interpersonal and commercial skills whilst developing as a recruiting expert in your specialism.
9 monthsRecruitment Consultant
As an independent recruitment consultant you will directly contribute to the growth of your division by growing your client/candidate base within your specialism. This role is varied and fast-paced, involving plenty of communication with clients and candidates.
12 monthsSenior Consultant
Senior Consultants are responsible for generating new business through sales activity and developing existing client relationships through flawless customer service. Senior Consultants have larger fee targets and start to take on more responsibility internally for team or company-wide initiatives – all achievable through your added experience.
2 yearsAssociate Business Manager
As Associate Business Manager you start learning the skills required to hire, develop and grow a team as a people manager. Focused on maximising your own earning potential on your existing desk, you will also learn how to build and enhance your future team’s performance and productivity.
2 yearsBusiness Manager
Business Managers are responsible for maximising the individual fee performance of both themselves and their team by driving business development and key account initiatives to meet budget and growth targets. You will be involved in strategic planning to grow your specialism through headcount growth, team development and performance.
2-3 yearsSenior Business Manager
As a Senior Business Manager you are expected to significantly contribute to the revenue and growth of the business, through scaling and managing a large specialism and/or multiple specialisms whilst running a successful recruitment desk. Hays provides various advanced leadership training to enhance your management style to bring out the best in not only yourself but your teams in decision making and productivity, whilst also focusing on Business Development.
3 yearsBusiness Director
The Business Director is a member of the senior leadership team, driving business growth while simultaneously maintaining culture and quality. They head up large specialisms, supporting and developing their management team to achieve the strategic direction and objections of each specialism. They’re also key leaders in external business networks and Hays events for client engagement.
